About
Thing changes everything you’ve ever known about homepages. And we mean everything. Imagine an art director in an ad agency having to start off each layout with a template or a theme (with limited options) and then shoehorn their design into it. That’s traditionally been the position online too. With Thing they can start off with a blank page, and let their imaginations run wild. Pages are constructed in realtime in a mobile-first environment - with a vast array of design features and content management options. Thing takes the best elements out of the grid-based design approaches, and hooks them up to an almost invisible interface for playing with content (think rich real-time/-content editing, drag & drop etc) and lets users build an unique page on the fly, based on real content, and for all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile). The customers are creators; the initial audience being designers, with other verticals (writers, photographers, illustrators) one can tackle post-launch.
