MediPhrases is a mobile application phrase translation framework which aids healthcare providers bridge the language divide between themselves and patients in consultation based scenarios. It makes use of text to speech synthesis in order to avoid situations where the doctor cannot pronounce text in the target language. Further research is being done into sending translated instructions to the patients voicemail as well.
